Coriander Falls On Sluggish Demand

Coriander prices fell by 2.24 per cent on Monday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited as the adequate stocks availability in the physical market put pressure on coriander prices. At the NCDEX, coriander futures for January 2016 contract were trading at Rs. 6,950 per quintal, down by 2.24 per cent, after opening at Rs. 7,149 against the previous closing price of Rs. 7,109. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 6,825 till the trading.
Sentiment weakened further as speculators reduced their positions on the back of sluggish demand in the market.
