Coriander Falls By 1.09 Pct On Increased Supply

Coriander prices fell by 1.09 per cent on Thursday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited as a result of the week trend in the spot market due to ample stock presence on increased supply from major producing belt. At the NCDEX, Coriander futures for May 2016 contract were trading at Rs 7,265 per kg, down by 1.09 per cent, after opening at Rs. 7,336 against the previous closing price of Rs. 7,345. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 7,252 till the trading. Coriander is common in South Asian, Middle Eastern, Central Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, Tex-Mex, Latin American, Portuguese, Chinese, African, and Scandinavian cuisine.
