Mustard Seed On NCDEX Settled Down By -1.24% At 4855

Mustard Seed on NCDEX settled down by -1.24% at 4855 on profit booking after prices gained on improved demand ahead of winter season and on global supply worries. USDA in its monthly report trimmed rape seed output of Canada, the world's biggest seed producer, by 9.9% to 15.5 million tons on year. Mustard seed arrivals have entered a lean period, with daily arrivals of nearly 180,000 bags. Seasonal demand for mustard oil, however, is expected to gather pace when demand from pickle manufacturers gains momentum. Mustard seed crush margins have also turned positive, supporting demand from processors.
