Ref Soya oil on NCDEX settled up 0.43% at 646.55 as support seen on supply worries after imports dropped. India's soyoil imports in July fell 0.26% to 348,514 tons in June compared to 349,436 tons for the same period a year ago, data released by the SEA of India showed. The Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA) has urged the Narendra Modi government to increase duty on imported crude soybean oil to 37.5% and 45% on refined soybean oil, which is the WTO bound rate.
