Maize On NCDEX Settled Down By -0.55% At 1447



Maize on NCDEX settled down by -0.55% at 1447 tracking weakness in spot demand amid profit booking. In India, maize has been sown in around 13.14 lakh hectares which is higher than 12.27 lakh hectare covered during corresponding period last year. In Maharashtra, it has been sown in around 1.91 lakh hectares which are higher than 1.79 lakh hectare covered during corresponding period last year. At Khanna market in Punjab total arrivals are at 3000 Quintal, lower by 750 Quintal from previous trading day. At Ahmedabad market in Gujarat traders reported arrivals at 3000 bags, down by 2000 bags as compared to previous day.
