Mustard Seed On NCDEX Settled Down By -1.61% At 3907

Mustard Seed on NCDEX settled down by -1.61% at 3907 on expectation of higher supply. However demand of mustard seed has increased from crusher due to firm sales of mustard oil in last few days as mustard oil prices were trading around one year low. India's mustard crop sowing rose 13.62% to 6.82 million hectare due to good moisture, showed agriculture ministry data. In the same period a year ago the sowing of mustard was reported at 6.01 million hectares, government data showed. Slow progress of sowing across major producing regions and anticipated rise in consumption demand for mustard oil during upcoming winter season is likely to support the market.
