Jeera On NCDEX Settled Down By -2.55% At 17595

Jeera on NCDEX settled down by -2.55% at 17595 amid lower domestic and exports demand at the spot market. Furthermore, ample stocks position following higher supplies from major growing regions in Gujarat and Rajasthan too fuelled the downtrend. The arrivals have now slowed down in the physical market but the trade has been slow down. As per data, about 6,725 tonnes of jeera arrived in May (1- 20) compared to 26,151 in April (1-20). On the export front, country the exports increase by 29.6% to 1,08,513 tonnes in first 11 month of marketing year 2016/17 as per the data release by Dept of commerce, GOI.
