Ref Soyaoil on NCDEX settled down by -0.47% at 626.3 tracking weakness in spot demand and global cues. India’s oilmeals exports for April 2017 increased 19 per cent to 135,474 tonnes as compared to 113,978 tonnes in the corresponding month last year, the latest data shared by the Solvent Extractors’ Association of India (SEA) revealed. AT 1,24,374 tonnes, soybean meal exports held the largest share in overall oilmeal exports from India. Shipments of soyameal and other value-added products in April registered an eight-fold increase as against 12,295 tonnes in the corresponding period last year, according to provisional estimates released by the Soyabean Processors Association of India. India's soymeal exports in April spurted multi folds as compared to same period a year ago on lower prices in the global market, the Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA) said in its report after receiving additional information from DGFT
